We are excited to announce that our networking meeting on Tuesday 20th October will see us returning to Beamish Museum. These meetings are always a highlight in the Do Business Network calendar, and this upcoming session promises to be particularly special as we gather at one of the museum's newest exhibits in the 1820s Landscape: The Drovers Tavern.
To add a bit of historical context to our morning, a member of Beamish staff will be sharing insights about the story of droving and how local farmers droving their cattle to market used taverns similar to the Drover's Tavern in Beamish's Georgian area as a vital rest stop. Alongside the business discussions, there will also be live pottery demonstrations taking place out in the courtyard, showcasing the traditional skills of an 1820s potter. It is a brilliant, atmospheric backdrop for a morning of professional networking.
Member Spotlight: Tom from H&H Insurance Limited
Our guest speaker for the morning is Tom from H&H Insurance Limited. As one of our most recent DBN members, Tom will be taking the spotlight to share more about H&H Insurance Ltd. It is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about his work, and Tom will be on (hand to answer any commercial insurance queries or offer guidance to fellow network members looking to secure their business assets.
