We’re helping rural businesses in County Durham access faster broadband by adding £500,000 to the government's Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme (GBVS). The scheme offers a one-off contribution to businesses and residents in rural areas to subsidise the installation costs of a gigabit-capable, full-fibre broadband connection.
Properties must have download speeds of less than 30 Megabits per second (Mbps) to be eligible. The funding will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until the end of March 2021. Please click here for more information.
