Navigating Business Together with Drop Anchor
We are delighted to introduce our newest DBN member, Danielle Fulcher, who recently joined us at our Consett Golf Club meeting. Danielle is the founder of Drop Anchor Business, and after chatting with her about her journey, it was clear that our community would benefit from her unique approach to business support.
From High-Street Banking to Bespoke Support
Danielle is no stranger to the complexities of the business world. Since 2015, she served as a Business Advisor at Barclays, where she spent years helping entrepreneurs navigate the hurdles of starting and scaling their ventures. This decade of experience in traditional finance gave her a front-row seat to the challenges business owners face, but it also highlighted a gap in how support is often delivered.
She realised that while standard advice works for some, it doesn’t always account for the different ways our brains process information and manage tasks.
A Unique Focus: Working Alongside Neurodivergent Clients
What truly sets Drop Anchor Business apart—and Danielle’s primary USP—is her commitment to working alongside neurodivergent clients.
Many business owners who are autistic, have ADHD, or identify as neurodivergent find that traditional business coaching can feel rigid or overwhelming. Danielle’s approach is different. She uses her extensive banking background to provide solid, practical foundations, but she delivers that support through a lens of empathy and flexibility.
Practical Support for DBN Members
Danielle offers structured, accessible services designed to provide clarity and stability:
The Working Business Plan: Instead of a static document, Danielle helps you create a "working" plan that evolves with your business. In a collaborative 60-minute session, she helps you sense-check your progress and pinpoint steady income streams, providing you with an editable action plan to guide your next steps.
Grant and Lending Preparation: Drawing on her years at Barclays, Danielle assists with the often-daunting task of funding applications. She helps you navigate complex terms and conditions, check your eligibility, and ensure your submission is professional, thorough, and credible.
Whether it’s breaking down financial jargon or creating systems that work with a client’s brain rather than against it, Danielle’s goal is to provide a "safe harbour" where business owners find the structure they need to succeed.
A Warm Welcome
Danielle is passionate about building a business community that values genuine connection. She is here to share her expertise and support fellow members who might be looking for a more tailored, understanding approach to business growth.
If you didn’t get a chance to speak with her at the last meeting, please do reach out. We are delighted to have her as part of the network and look forward to seeing her business thrive alongside ours.
