On Tuesday 16th December, members of the Do Business Network stepped back in time for a truly special evening at the Business Friends of Beamish Christmas event. It was a privilege to see so many familiar DBN faces braving the winter chill to celebrate the season in such an iconic North East setting.
A Spectacle of Light and Tradition
The museum was transformed into a winter wonderland. We were particularly struck by the magnificent Christmas trees dotted throughout the site, each adorned with an abundance of beautiful lights that brought a festive glow to the historic streets.

The evening offered a wonderful opportunity for our members to unwind and connect. Everything provided was delicious and hot—the perfect remedy for a freezing winter evening. A highlight for many was the special visit with Father Christmas, and we are delighted to report that Melanie is officially on the 'nice' list!

A huge thank you goes to the staff at Beamish Museum. Despite the freezing temperatures, their professionalism and dedication were clear to see. They looked after our group with constant smiles and genuine care, proving why they are such a valued cornerstone of our regional heritage.
