Reflecting on a Fantastic Finish at Derwentside College

A Morning of Connection and Clarity: Setting the Stage for 2026

What a brilliant way to wrap up the year! The Do Business Network (DBN) was delighted to spend a productive and positive morning connecting with our members at Derwentside College yesterday. These year-end sessions are crucial for maintaining the strong, supportive atmosphere of our network.

The morning was focused on providing clear guidance and strategic direction for 2026. We believe transparency is key, and we shared detailed plans outlining the significant opportunities for all members to engage with and actively contribute to our collective growth in the year ahead. This continuous involvement is the foundation of the DBN's success.

A huge thank you must go to Angelo and his team at Derwentside College. Their consistently excellent hospitality makes working with them a real pleasure and enhances the overall experience for all our attendees. The delicious bacon and sausage butties, alongside the barista-style coffee, certainly provided the perfect fuel for a productive morning!

The festive spirit was high thanks to our annual DBN Christmas quiz. A special congratulations to The Lumotics team—Lee Quarzi, David Hardy DipPFS, Martin Price, and Peter Knowles—who were our well-deserved winners and took home their prizes. It was a wonderful moment of light-hearted connection and a reminder that business is about building relationships.

To every one of our members: thank you. Your dedication and incredible, continued support throughout 2025 has been vital. The energy and collaboration you bring underscore the unique strength of the Do Business Network.

As we look forward to 2026, we are genuinely excited to continue this journey with you. Our focus remains clear: connecting, learning, and growing together to build a future where every business belongs.
