FOREST OF LIGHT 2025

Various dates throughout November, December & January

Opening hours: 4pm - 8pm (last permitted entry)

At night, when the moon takes its place in the sky the Forest of Light comes to life.

The Forest of Light is a captivating illuminated experience set within a enchanted ancient woodland.  The Hotel has created a world filled with illuminations, music, interactive props and projections to dazzle and amaze.  A unique experience not to be found anywhere else.

The organisers understand that some guests would like to experience the event at an earlier time to accommodate younger children, and so the props and interactive set will be running from 4pm each day, however to get the full effect of the lights please check sunset times for your date and book your time slot accordingly.

For an extra special treat, when booking tickets to this event you will also receive exclusive access to our discounted accommodation rates please contact the Reservations team on 01207 233 733 for availability and pricing.

***Important Notice***

  • Regretfully, this is not a wheelchair accessible event as the majority of the event takes place within the woodlands where no concreted or tarmacked paths are present.  Albeit they are maintained, since they are not fully surfaced, they are uneven, rocky in places, with exposed roots in some areas and where mud does accumulate frequently and for fairly extended distances. Additionally, the event takes place late afternoon and into the evening hours, which compiles the risks and challenges aforementioned with reduced light conditions.

  • The organisers highly encourage the use of a sling or carrier for small infants rather than the use of pushchairs for the above reasons.

  • Only guide dogs are permitted entry to this experience.

  • The event includes some flashing and strobe lighting for effect.

  • All tickets are non refundable or transferable once reserved.
