CONSETT ROTARY CLUB

Consett Rotary continues to grow its membership as people are increasingly become aware of the community service ethos of the Club. Formed in 1942 Rotary has been serving the people of Consett for over 80 years.

Four new members joined at a recent meeting bringing the new membership total since July to eight.

Consett Rotary would like to extend an invitation to all DBN members to come along to one of our meetings to see what we get up to.

In July, for example, the Rotary Club raised £6,000 for Willowburn Hospice and Prostate Cancer from a charity golf day and they have a couple of social events coming up that DBN members may wish to attend.

DBN members can show their support for Rotary's charitable activities by coming along to our various fundraising social events or by making a donation.

The Club is always seeking new members and DBN members are welcome to come along and see what Rotary get up to. Consett Rotary meet every Thursday at 6.30pm at the Three Horse Shoes, Maiden Law, Lanchester.

They have recently inducted 4 new members.  With another new member inducted last week Consett Rotary are going in the right direction but they still need new members with new ideas.
