Phil Benton, a talented photographer and a proud Do Business Network member, was asked to photograph the Cheviots for Wannies Retreat, a beautiful holiday spot deep in the heart of Northumberland. The goal was unique: to create a sign identifying all the peaks for guests to enjoy. Phil loved the idea and, after capturing the images, he needed a local sign-maker who could bring the concept to life.
A Connection Made at a DBN Meeting
This is where networking paid off. Having met at a few Do Business Network meetings, Phil knew exactly who to turn to: Colin Groves. Colin, a skilled sign-maker, was the perfect person for the job. The result is a stunning sign that beautifully showcases the Cheviots, a brilliant addition to the unique Wannies Retreat. This project is a perfect example of how simply coming along to our meetings can lead to meaningful collaborations.
