What a truly brilliant start to the day we had at our latest Do Business Network (DBN) meeting, held this morning at the lovely Beamish Park Golf Course! The sun was shining, conversations were buzzing, and the coffee was certainly flowing – alongside plenty of delicious bacon butties, which were, as always, a huge hit!
It was particularly fantastic to welcome so many new faces to the group. We've seen a wonderful influx of new members recently, and we genuinely believe this is all down to our 'famously friendly' approach to networking. It’s a joy to see our community grow with such vibrant new connections.

The absolute highlight of the morning for many was undoubtedly the captivating talk from Bernhard and Carina of Kaffeehaus. They shared their inspiring rebrand story with incredible transparency and passion, giving us a fascinating glimpse behind the scenes.
They took us on a journey from the very beginning: the meticulous process of sourcing responsibly farmed green coffee beans (it’s truly amazing to hear they know the farmers personally, ensuring ethical and sustainable practices!) right through to the art of roasting at their very own roastery in Sacriston. Their dedication to understanding and controlling their product from 'source to sale' is not just commendable, it's a powerful testament to their commitment to quality and values. These are the kinds of authentic insights that make our DBN community so special and rewarding.
