Ushaw Classic Car & Bike Show returns for a spectacular day celebrating motoring history. Set against the stunning backdrop of Ushaw’s historic grounds, this event brings together an incredible collection of vintage, classic, and custom cars and motorcycles from across the decades.

May Half Term

Bookmark Printing - Tuesday, 27th, Wednesday, 28th & Thursday, 29th May 2025. Join us to create your own printing plates which you can then ink up and print to make bookmarks. Pre-booking required, book your place here.
Fairy Fun - Tuesday, 27th & Thursday, 29th May 2025. Guided by our team, make some fairy friends, a fairy headdress and even some fairy wings before you flutter off into our beautiful grounds. Pre-booking required, book your place here.
Walk-in Papercrafts - Wednesday, 28th May 2025, 13:30-15:30. Come and join us for drop in free papercrafts. No pre-booking required, included with Ushaw Membership or Day Pass.
Bird Spotting Garden Trail – Help us to survey the birds who live in our grounds. Pick up your spotters guide from the Visitor Centre and keep a tally of what you see!
Spot & Search Indoor Trail – In our Spot & Search Trail, see if you can find all the feathery details in our The Discovery of Birds exhibition.
Toy Takeover (excluding Thursday 29 May) – We’ll have with heaps of track and trains for your young engineers to construct and play to their hearts content.

The Discovery of Birds (from Saturday, 12th April to Sunday, 22nd June 2025) - a look at the development of bird art and ornithology from the Renaissance to the nineteenth century. Read more here.
