North Durham CLLD is a funding programme using European Structural and Investment Funds to support projects that will work with new and existing business (and individuals) to business growth and job creation and support unemployed people on their pathway to employment.
If you are a business located in areas around Chester-le-Street, Stanley, Pelton Fell, Pelton, Whitehills, Dipton, Annfield Plain, Harelaw and Craghead then you may be eligible for business support and grants through the business focussed projects North Durham CLLD has funded:
- Durham Business Growth Grant - offers small or medium sized businesses in the CLLD area with plans to grow, improve productivity and potentially employ more staff with the opportunity to apply for a grant of between £1,000-£2,000.
- Finchale Business Boost - offers budding entrepreneurs and small and medium sized businesses in the CLLD area bespoke tailored advice on a one-to-one basis, one-to-one coaching/mentoring, skills development, businesses “Masterclasses” for existing and emerging enterprises and a capital and revenue grant programme up to £25k to provide start up, growth and investment opportunities.
