Yesterday I paid for the shipping of 21 boxes of football gear to Liberia, with cash raised in last year's Christmas Dribble.
They'll be picked up from Mary's Meals' warehouse this morning, and will be on their way to Liberia very soon. We expect they will arrive mid to late February at the very latest.
Thanks again to Mary's Meals and to all who donated kit or sponsored me in the 15-mile 'walk with a ball'. I was beginning to doubt this would ever come off, so it's amazing that things are finally under way!!
If anyone wants to get involved in collecting kit for children aged 8 to 15, or raising money to send it to Liberia, get in touch.
