Time flies . . .
It’s hard to believe that it’s almost September already. It hasn’t been the best of years but at least it’s passing very quickly!
We’re loving the fact that we have the technology to help us to keep in touch online but we do miss seeing everyone in person. We’ll be keeping our regular networking meetings and masterclasses online for the foreseeable future but we’d love to meet up too. So, with this in mind . . .
Who’s up for a “netwalk” next month?
We’re proposing to join forces in September with our friends at the FSB and organise a “netwalking” event. This time round we’re proposing to set off from the Land of Oak and Iron Visitor Centre. It’s an opportunity to get some exercise outdoors, do some networking with refreshments (of course!) and we can observe social distancing too. So who’s up for it? Drop us a line and tell us the day of the week that works best for you and we’ll get it organised! If it’s a success, maybe we can do it on a regular basis - Derwent Reservoir next time maybe?
Does anyone fancy a cuppa and a cake next month?
On three consecutive Friday afternoons in September we’re planning to meet up with a few of our members to chat about business, do some socially distanced networking and plan some activities and events for October. We’ll be keeping the numbers low, be under cover but outdoors (so you may need to wrap up!) and observe strict social distancing at these little gatherings. The cuppas and cakes are on us! Just drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’d like to join in.
See you on Wednesday!
Please don’t forget to book Mags Marketing Masterclass next Wednesday. Mags Bradshaw is a new DBN member. She is a great presenter and has a unique approach to getting marketing just right! We’d love to see you there. You can find full details and how to book here.
