Father and daughter duo Bernhard and Carina Nausner have launched their own brand of premium roasted coffee with the help of the Durham Business Opportunities Programme (DBOP).
After many successful years running speciality coffee shop Kaffeehaus Amadeus in Lanchester, Bernhard and Carina expanded their business becoming the first local independent speciality coffee roasters in Durham.
Durham Coffee is ethically sourced premium coffee with each blend representing a piece of Durham’s heritage including the Prince Bishops Roast, St Cuthbert’s Journey, Miners’ Gala, The Dun Cow, Castle Blend and Cathedral Blend.
The heritage brand was launched in June 2020 generating sales through https://www.durhamcoffee.co.uk/ and the established route of Kaffeehaus Amadeus, where the unique Durham Coffee blends will be available to try and buy.
