August DBN networking meeting
We are delighted to announce our August DBN networking meeting will be held at the stunning Ushaw: Historic House, Chapels and Gardens on Tuesday, 19th August 2025, from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
It's a pleasure to be back at this truly historic and beautiful local venue, having previously hosted a successful meeting here back in March.
This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow DBN members and local businesses in an atmosphere of architectural beauty. Our meeting will take place in the beautiful Francis Thompson Room.
Date: Tuesday, 19th August 2025
Time: 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM
Venue: The Francis Thompson Room, Ushaw: Historic House, Chapels and Gardens, Woodland Road, Ushaw Moor, County Durham, DH7 7DW
Cost: FREE for ALL attendees
Refreshments: Tea/Coffee and Bacon Buttie (if you have any dietary requirements, please let us know as soon as possible)

Introducing a new service for DBN members
How easy is it for your customers to find the products and services they are looking for and how easy is it for them to buy from you?
Here's how it works. We invite a couple of our members to meet with you online to chat about what you want your website and social media to do for your business. Over a few days they will visit your website and media pages as "shoppers" and then give you constructive feedback about what works and what could be even better. We have a checklist of things to look for so it is consistent no matter who carries it out.
Please let us know if you would like us to check out your website or the social media pages you sell from and we'll set up an online meeting between you and your two "shoppers" so you can chat about what you need from your customer experience healthcheck.
