DBN EVENTS

DBN & CORONAVIRUS

As you know the Coronavirus situation has changed significantly this week and the situation changes daily.

Clearly we can't run a DBN meeting in the light of the recent Government advice so we are postponing meetings until we know that a gathering of people poses no threat.  We are keeping an eye on what Boris Johnson PM, Sir Patrick Vallance (UK's chief scientific adviser) and Professor Chris Whitty (UK's chief medical adviser) have to say in their daily press conferences.

We're very sorry about this but our priority must be to protect people and try to prevent the virus from spreading.

Please keep safe and look after yourselves. We'll be in touch shortly to look at ways we can support you and your business during this difficult period.

Workshops will be taking place at the new Enterprise House (Seaham),  Innovation House (Bishop Auckland) and will continue to programme workshops at Viewpoint in Consett on 11 February with ‘Pitch Perfect’ and 10 March with ‘Leading by Example – the art of communication’.

John Atkinson, Business Funding Advisor for County Durham said: “We know that time and knowledge are two of the biggest pressures facing small and medium-sized businesses, so these short sessions are designed to allow business owners and managers to enhance their knowledge without being away from their day-to-day roles for too long. Places are limited and uptake has been excellent, so we would encourage anyone who is interested to sign up below."
