DBN Wellbeing Awareness

We have approached some of our members to help promote an overall awareness for the wide-ranging aspects of wellbeing, including social, physical, emotional, community and environmental wellbeing. Something never before so important in these challenging times of ours.

Throughout the year we will be sharing stories, advice, hints and tips to promote wellbeing awareness within our business community.  We have also organised many smaller face to face networking events which we hope will begin the transition from being in lockdown to face to face networking again.

DBN CUPPA & CAKE MEETING

DATE & VENUE: Friday, 9th July at Isabella's Coffee Shop, 8 Front Street, Shotley Bridge, Consett, County Durham, DH8 0HH

TIME: 9:30-11:00

COST: FREE to attend but you will need to bring some pennies for a cuppa and a slice of Isabella’s homemade cake!

This is a great opportunity to network in a smaller group with other DBN members - maximum number for this event is 15 so please book your place early to avoid disappointment.

Dr Jane Anderson from JCA Consult Ltd

JCA Consult Ltd works with your organisation to deliver a reasonable, achievable, and believable combination of longterm strategic planning and practical quick-win operational measures to create sustainable organisational wellbeing.

Using their own framework they work with you and your people to revisit the very infrastructure of your organisation to test core values and tailor behaviour assumptions. The effect is immediate: people feel 'heard',  relevant, and more open to growth.  The resulting cultural shift is authentic and unique to your organisation giving everyone a genuine reason to be there.

It's important that people know why they are coming to work, that they know they are valued and understand why they are valued, what they contribute. Otherwise, this part of their life can become meaningless. And it's a big part!

Jane Anderson PhD has sent us a collection of her 'wellbeing' blogs written from personal experiences.  Find out more about Janes services at https://www.jcaconsult.co.uk/
